Sandra’s life itself is a true testament to the power of faith and the infinite potential of the human spirit in everyone. In 1999, following the birth of her first child, she was faced with an auto immune disease, Alopecia Areata, which resulted in the complete loss of all the hair on her body. At only 25 years old she was forced into a compelling journey of self discovery and has emerged a living example that true beauty comes from within.
Overcoming Alopecia’s devastating blow to her self esteem, Sandra transformed pain into passion creating a musical message that seals and heals.
“My mission is to be the catalyst that enables women to heal the experiences that have eroded and challenged their self esteem. I am here to help them see the beautiful human beings they truly are and boldly celebrate that beauty and strength from the inside out.”
Her determination and persistence is evident today in her growing company, Dubose Entertainment, and its debut film “Project Liberation- My Alopecia Experience”. Currently, the company’s products also include the Project Liberation soundtrack written and performed by Sandra herself, as well as the speech presentation, “A New Attitude” which records Sandra’s keynote address at the National Alopecia Areata Foundation’s 24th annual conference this year. Sandra’s talent, charisma and humor have impacted many lives and the boundless influence of her gift has only just begun to flourish!
