Project Liberation Documentary Film

You are invited to sit beside the fireplace with the Link Sister Circle as they laugh, cry and candidly explore the relationship between women and their hair.  Unscripted, the women share their hearts, strength and deep love for Sandra as viewers are all forced to ponder the ultimate question “What would I do if I lost my hair? And who would I be? “This very question is the impetus for Project Liberation and propels the viewer into the depths of true beauty, society and eventually spirituality.

Sandra Dubose-Gibson bares her soul and reveals her innermost thoughts and experiences while going bald as a result of Alopecia Areata, an autoimmune disease that affects over 5 million people in the United States  alone.  Inspiring and informative, Project Liberation is a testament that invites all women to tap into their own inner strength and true beauty.

Watch Sandra be supported and use her artistry to transform Alopecia Areata into a vehicle of self acceptance and inspiration that touches everyone. See Sandra go out in public for the first time- bald, liberating herself and celebrating it all!  Prepare to be moved as Sandra’s personal journey begins at her first bald photo shoot. Lights,
Camera, Liberation!

This one is for you Daddy....

Thank you note: This film would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of my brother, Rick Mitchell. He was and is my Angel on earth. Together we poured our hearts into this project. We did it for me, for all Alopecian’s and in memory of our father who died of the autoimmune disease, Lupus back in 1994. It was a labor of love and the best way to express the love we feel for our father whom we miss so much. Thank you Rick and thank you Daddy for being a wonderful man and a loving father.
