The Alopecia Community of the Triangle is a new support/empowerment group for children, teens and adults living with medically related hair loss such as Alopecia Areata, chemotherapy etc. We provide emotional support, encouragement, advice and information to anyone impacted by Alopecia and the people who love them.
Come Join!
If you or someone you love has Alopecia, you don’t have to go through this experience alone. Come give and receive support from others who understand and can relate to how you feel. There may not be a medical cure for the condition but there is healing for your heart and mind. Currently meetings are held one evening a month in Apex, North Carolina. We have a standing open invitation. All individuals living in the Triangle area, Virginia and throughout the Carolina’s are welcome to join us. Together We Can
The goal of the Alopecia Community of the Triangle is to promote self empowerment and bolster self esteem from the negative impact of hair loss. We provide a safe place to share, openly but voluntarily. There will be workshops offered, dynamic guest speakers invited, group events to build relationships and opportunities to give back to the community as a team and advocate for Alopecia awareness. Together we can turn a negative experience around to make a positive difference in the lives of many.
