Discovering true beauty from the inside-out!

About A.C.T.

The Alopecia Community of the Triangle was founded by Sandra Dubose in 2009 as a support/empowerment group for children, teens and adults living with medically related hair loss such as Alopecia Areata, chemotherapy etc. We provide emotional support, encouragement, advice and information to anyone impacted by Alopecia and the people who love them. Join our facebook group and sign up on our e-mail list to get updates, inspiration and information on our annual Alopecia Awareness Month Concert to be held in September in Raleigh,  NC.

Together We Can

The goal of the Alopecia Community of the Triangle is to promote self empowerment and bolster self esteem from the negative impact of hair loss. We provide a safe place to share, openly but voluntarily. We hold group events allowing us to build relationships and opportunities to give back to the community as a team and advocate for Alopecia awareness. Together we can turn a negative experience around to make a positive difference in the lives of many.
