Well I had the pleasure of laughing and crying with my best friend who loves me and often tells me I look better in a damnbana (that's my bandana word) than in a wig (which I seldom wear...the wind is not your friend in one of those). This was my first expeirience with ever going bald in public and it was so liberating...still hard for me around my home community...but I have hope. I beleive we all grow at our own time and it's only been a year and a half since going AU. I teach Special Education and I'm hoping to use your son "I Am Beautiful" as our theme song for the year, my students are so smart and "get it". They are such an inspiration to me, as well as the beautiful children at the conference...sorry to say they were the best part...and then you. Sandra you were so inspiring to me, I only hope that I can get involved more with NAAF and helping others get through all the "stuff" to tell you the truth that was the reason I wanted to go...to help get connected with other AND...wow so much healing for me. I loved the spirit of the entire conference and all the amazing people I have met. I hope to see you next year...Oh and to keep in touch with you until then, you are a hero among us! He said he looked around the room and saw other men tearing up. Way to go! My husband is a business man and travels quite often. He hears lots of speakers for various reasons and he said you are by far his favorite. Keep it up. God blesses those who bless others. And you certainly did just that. Thank you.
